Obituary for Mrs. Aldana Dawn Ruttan
RUTTAN
Mrs. Aldana Dawn Ruttan, age 79 years of Nolalu, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, July 13, 2018 with her family by her side.
Aldana was born in Lincoln, New Brunswick on August 13, 1938. She met Norman Ruttan and their families joined as one, spending over 50 happy years together. Aldana was employed as a School Bus Driver for 40 years. She truly loved driving the children, especially her own grandchildren. Aldana enjoyed arts and crafts. She was well known for making many memorable photo albums and putting together gift baskets for all sorts of celebrations. She will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.
Aldana is survived by her husband Norman; children Robin, Kelly, Michael, Andrea, Leonard and step-children Terri-Lynn and Kelly as well as 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Edwin, sisters Nancy and Hilda and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Aldana's Life will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 12:00 until 4:00pm in the Kakabeka Legion Branch #225. A service will take place at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Chris Fiorito. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Aldana to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
