Obituary for Miss Marina Tremonti

Miss Marina  Tremonti
It is with great sadness that the family of Miss Marina Tremonti, announce her passing, peacefully at home, on Sunday September 2, 2018.

Marina was born on August 14, 1968 in Fort William. She was an active member of the Lady Venet Society and the Catholic Women’s League for over 20 years. Marina loved volunteering, spending her time at both the Hospital and the Kidney Foundation. This past year she was recognized for all her service with the Kidney Foundation as the Outstanding Volunteer for 2018.

Marina enjoyed traveling to visit family, most recently she was able to travel to the mountains of Vancouver. Marina enjoyed spending time with Carlye and Jay, her pride and joy. This past August she was able to celebrate her 50th birthday with a number of family and friends.

Marina will be missed by her loving mother Corinna, brother Albert (Lorna), Carlye and Jay Tremonti.

She was predeceased by her father Vito, grandmother Giuseppina DeLorenzo, and baby boy Tremonti

Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 7, 2018 at St Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may made in memory of Marina to the annual Kidney Walk or the Northern Cancer Fund.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore St at James.
