The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mr. Tauno Junttola can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Tauno's passing. He and Aunt Jane were the most wonderful next door neighbours on Windsor Street, and I have the fondest memories growing up with Wayne and Barb.

Todd and I were so grateful that Alf brought Uncle Tauno to our mom's memorial service 5 years ago, and we had a lovely visit.

Sending hugs to Wayne and Cindy, Barb and Alf and families.

Love, Sharon (Arnold) Dawson

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Tauno. We think aboutTauno often, every time we stay at our camp at Sunnyside. What a wonderful job he did. I also think about the time I stayed with Tauno and Jane many years ago. They took good care of me, and I enjoyed my stay with them.

Condolence: Heartfelt condolences from Ottawa to Wayne and Barb and their families. Growing up on Windsor Street in the 60's, the we had a special group of friends (Wayne, Brent, Gordie, Billy, myself) who were always welcome in the home of Auntie Jane and Uncle Tauno. Uncle Tauno certainly worked a lot and he was always friendly, kind and warm-hearted. His Camp provided many special memories as well. Wayne, my long time friend, please reply using the email provided - I really would like to talk to you.
