Mr. William Walter  Wiwcharyk
Mr. William Walter Wiwcharyk, age 81 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home, Lakehead Manor.

Willy was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on February 22, 1937, and was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay. He worked as a construction worker for Northland Machinery. He led a simple life, never needing or wanting for much. He enjoyed hockey, politics, and was always current on his local events.

Willy was always ready to lend a helping hand without complaint. He loved us and we loved him and will miss him very much.

He is survived by his sister Anne Shubaly of Winnipeg; nieces and nephews, Sandra, Gary, Cindy, Shirley, Adam, Candace, Timothea, and Donna.

He was predeceased by his parents Pearl and Demetro Wiwcharyk; his brothers, John (Ethel), Michael (Olga) and Ben Wiwcharyk.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma, officiated by Rev. Randy Boyd. Visitation will be held an hour prior. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

If friends desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay.
