Obituary for Mr. Terry Michael McInnis
Mr. Terry McInnis, age 77 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.
Terry was born on January 24, 1941 in Fort William. He was employed at Dominion Motors until his retirement. Terry loved watching NASCAR, and spending time with his cat, China. He never missed his daily trip to Tim Hortons drive-thru in his new Chevy Impala. He loved his family and was very proud of his grandsons accomplishments.
Survived by Lynn; son, Tim (Joelle); grandsons, Michael (Stevie) and Cameron (Missy); brother Marvin; sister in-law Linda and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Predeceased by his parents, Lila and Herman McInnis and brother Jack McInnis.
Thank you to the Dr's, nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and TBRHSC - Oncology and the Emergency Room for your care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date. Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 N. May Street at Cameron in care of arrangements.
If friends so desire as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund or the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.
