Obituary for Mrs. Margaret Mae Boyes (Browe)

MRS. MARGARET MAE BOYES
FEBRUARY 22, 1943 - MARCH 15, 2020

It is with great sadness and sorrow we say goodbye to our beloved friend and mother Mrs. Margaret Mae Boyes, who passed away March 15, 2020 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Mom was a devout Catholic, her faith in God the Almighty and her beliefs were instilled in her children. Mom loved the outdoors, she enjoyed camping trips with her son, his family and the grandchildren. She loved her birds and she would sit there for hours and watch them. Mom loved to garden when she was younger, she worked in the tobacco fields as a young girl. Mom also spent time in the homes for the elderly which she enjoyed tremendously.

Mom had a heart of gold she would give her last dollar if someone needed it more than her. She raised 4 children on very little. Times were tough but she made us feel like the richest kids out there, we are who we are today because of this wonderful lady, mentor, friend and all around the best mother in the whole world.
Moms main focus was her family, she only had a handful of friends who she could trust. Mom loved to bake, her bread was the best.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ledson Wayne Boyes.

Mom was born and raised in Bothwell, Ontario, also predeceased by her parents Mary and George Browe.

Her mom and dad raised 6 children Robert Browe (Doreen), George Browe (Kay), Ken Browe (Shirley),
Jim Browe (Rita), and Mary Hood (Bill).

Surviving children who loved her dearly Margaret Robinson (Lewis David Robinson), Christine Kozlof (Mike Kozlof), Paula Trudell (Stephen Crane), Ledson Wayne Boyes II (Kristal Boyes).

Mom was dearly loved and respected by her grandchildren who lovingly called her GG: Crystal Anderson, Jerri Lynn Anderson, Lewis David Robinson II, Winston Robinson, Nicole Hernandez, Thomas Willis, William Trudell, Jennifer Harasen, Jackie Harmatiuk, Natasha Kozlof, Jessica Boyes and Ledson Wayne Boyes III.

Mom also had 14 great-grandchildren: Willow, Josie, Davey, Mayella, Michael, Anistasia,Cameron, Hailey, Preston, Kennedy, Urijah, Aspen, Skye and Evangeline.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
Their heartfelt sympathy and condolences are greatly appreciated by the family during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor and pay respect to our dearly departed mother on July 18, 2020,
