Obituary for Mr. Daniel Joseph Bruce Losier
DANIEL LOSIER
November 27, 1959 – March 17, 2021
It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the passing of Daniel Joseph Bruce Losier, age 61 years, peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
Dan was born on November 27, 1959 in Kapuskasing, Ontario. “Dan the Tranny Man” or “Danno” as he was known, was a Transmission Specialist for 35 years and truly enjoyed working at Fast Forward Auto (Rick). When he wasn't working, Dan loved playing his guitar, gardening, going fishing and completing home Reno projects.
Dan is survived by his wife Kathy; daughter Mellisa Louise (Brad); grandchildren Emily and Conor; brothers Bruce (Louise), Fred (Doris), Dave (Denise) and sister-in-law Carole. He also had a special place in his heart for his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as his many long-time friends and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Carmen Losier, and his sister Francine.
In accordance with Daniel's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Dan to the Northern Cancer Fund (payable to TBRHSF) would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
He will be deeply missed by us all and never forgotten.
