Obituary for Mr. Jeffrey Albert Thingstad

JEFFREY ALBERT THINGSTAD

If you're reading this, I died Tuesday, November 14th in my 77th year at Hogarth Riverview Manor. Either you liked me, or didn't,
and that's OK! I admit sometimes I was hard to get along with! I had a sarcastic sense of humor, could be stubborn and argumentative.
I liked things my way! Right Linda?

I was involved in a lot of stuff over the years, stock car racing, Union work, and volunteering a lot including skiing, golf events, Blues Fest and many others.

I was part of the Comuzzi family, putting in the time at various jobs at Lakehead Motors until I was sidelined with Central Nervous System Lymphoma.

I'll miss my wife of 45 years, Linda, thank you for being who you are, and Maggie, AKA Magoo my fur buddy.
My brother Erik (Jacqui),nephew Paul, niece Stephanie and beautiful granddaughters, Samantha, Jackie (you're it) and Megan, other family members and friends in Canada and the U.S., too numerous to mention.

You can bid me farewell Saturday, November 25th,
1:00 p.m at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, and/or at a Celebration of Life at Sleeping Giant Brewery, Saturday, December 9th at 12:30 p.m. to have a beer and swap stories! Please don't send flowers, but donate to
to Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding, Our Kids Count, Underground Gym, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church
or Alzheimer's Society Thunder Bay.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.

Happy trails to you until we meet again!
